【Reflection】
During the 9-day event (approximately 8.5 days), we welcomed over 80,000 visitors. The Osaka-Kansai Expo also saw increasing visitor numbers and awareness/buzz growing daily, with June 28th reportedly recording the highest attendance at the Expo.
A great number of visitors came, and many AREAS showed lively activity with daily experiences and special programs. Initially, we were concerned about maintaining steady attendance due to the distance from the East Gate, but many visitors had actually done their research in advance. At the information desk, we frequently heard questions like "Where is XX?" and "The lounge has good boxed lunches, right?"
Due to the very high outdoor temperatures during the event period, some people also came to escape the heat since entry didn't require reservations. Many visitors sat to watch the entrance videos, and the lounge at the back of the venue was constantly full.
We haven't been able to analyze visitor demographics due to lack of data, but the overwhelming majority were Japanese visitors across a wide age range. Thanks to the AREAS that prepared content for children, we saw many young visitors enjoying the experiences and exhibits.
【Post EXPO Initiatives】
Many visitors at the venue actively engaged with and enjoyed the hands-on experiences and exhibits, many of which continue to operate outside the venue as ongoing initiatives. Therefore, we are sharing a list of media outlets that publicized the venue's response with exhibitors, aiming for further dissemination of information. Additionally, we have shared photos and videos from the venue across the company to support post-event promotional activities.
Furthermore, some AREAs conducted their own surveys and obtained results that could provide insights for new technologies and initiatives. We hope to utilize these findings to contribute to the development of the Healthcare field.
