THEME WEEKS
"Theme Weeks" is an initiative in which countries from around the world create a "Future Society for Our Lives" and solve global-scale issues through dialogue.
Eight themes
The main theme of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan is 'Designing Future Society for Our Lives'.
Three key sub-themes have been set out to express this more concretely: Saving Lives, Empowering Lives and Connecting Lives.
Each of the eight themes of Theme Weeks is closely related to the above three sub-themes.

Theme Weeks Connect
"Theme Weeks Connect" is an initiative to solve global-scale issues related to the eight themes of Theme Weeks, held outside the Expo site. As an off-site related program of Theme Weeks, it is not limited to just the Osaka/Kansai area, but is open to participants from all over Japan.
