●The Future of Mobility for Next Generations
For future generations who will enter society after 2050, mobility will evolve into a more advanced social system that meets all aspects of environmental impact reduction, safety, convenience, accessibility, and economy, rather than just a means of transportation. Future generations are expected to enjoy a more sustainable, safe, comfortable, and inclusive mobility society where these elements are integrated.
Since the COVID-19, the intention to ""own a car in the future"" has been declining among future generations. We will explore the potential of research and development in the mobility and automotive industry and the appeal of making future ""mobility"" more well-being."
Reports
【Reflection】
In this program, a symposium titled "The Future of Mobility Required" was held. Experts from industry, government, and academia gathered at the Theme Week Studio to discuss and share various issues related to the realization of a new mobility society expected to solve social problems
【Post EXPO Initiatives】
In this program, discussions focused on corporate and national efforts towards electrification and autonomous driving of vehicles. The symposium shared and demonstrated the expectation that new technologies and services will help address labor shortages and evolve mobility services, allowing people to naturally enjoy a richer life without feeling inconvenienced. The goal is to involve more people in creating the "future of mobility" and to realize a future where mobility solves social issues, rather than just ending with a sense of expectation.
