Michal Shalem (https://www.linkedin.com/in/michal-shalem-9732252a/) is a visionary entrepreneur and innovation leader committed to driving systemic change in women’s health. With a proven track record in venture building, competitive strategy, and developing startup ecosystems from ideation to investment, she creates ventures that address critical healthcare challenges and deliver scalable solutions.
As co-founder and CEO of impact.51, the world’s first Women’s health startup studio, Michal leads the development of groundbreaking ventures and ecosystems. She is also the co-founder and CEO of Think Creative, a boutique firm addressing global challenges.
Previously, Michal served as Chief of Staff at the Jerusalem Municipality, where she led transformative economic initiatives. Collaborating with Professor Michael Porter of Harvard Business School, she developed economic engines fostering growth in Israel’s periphery.
Michal holds an MA in Public Policy and is an alumna of the Wexner Leadership Program at Harvard Kennedy School. She lectures on entrepreneurship and innovation, inspiring leaders to drive meaningful change and advance systemic solutions in women’s health.

Drawing from her background in legal advisory and strategic planning, Michal connects diverse teams, guiding multidisciplinary groups to transform challenges into viable startups. Whether mentoring emerging entrepreneurs, teaching in MBA programs in both Israel and abroad, or leveraging her experience, she drives collaboration across policy, design, and innovation.
She previously served as the Deputy legal advisor at the Ministry of Aliya and Integration.
A perpetual learner with four academic degrees, her insatiable curiosity reflects a multidisciplinary approach rooted in the belief that the most meaningful solutions emerge when diverse perspectives intersect.
