Programme details
Through interactive exhibits and expert-led discussions, it will demonstrate the UK’s commitment to sustainability while fostering UK-Japan connections. Visitors can expect to learn about the UK’s progress and leadership in marine/fisheries, sustainable farming, clean energy and transport and the collaboration with Japan on these fronts. The activities and discussions will aim to be an educational tool and to promote dialogue and actionable solutions. Activities during the day will include engaging games, interactive technology demonstrations – where, for example, visitors will be able to experience operating robot control devices – and presentations that will allow the visitors to make the most of their time. The panel discussions or presentations in the evening will allow experts and guest speakers to cover topics around sustainability and discuss them with experts and the wider public. The exhibition will host associated events involving discussions and business exchange.
