What should we do now to conserve rich biodiversity for future generations?
This program introduces the Ministry of the Environment’s efforts toward achieving Nature Positive by 2030, and invites companies and organizations with pioneering initiatives to present their activities. Through this event, we aim to raise awareness of the importance of society-wide engagement in achieving a Nature Positive future. During the talk sessions, various companies and organizations will share their initiatives, achievements, and challenges. Together with the audience, we will explore what actions we can take to realize Nature Positive .
On September 22 (Mon) and September 23 (Tue, national holiday), special sessions will introduce Fukushima's efforts toward environmental regeneration, recovery, and a forward-looking future.
It has been 14 years since the disaster. Join us to learn about today’s Fukushima and think about the future together.

The Future of Earth and Biodiversity Week

Japan's Actions toward Nature Positive by 2030
ー To conserve and pass on the nature and its blessings ー

Special exhibition will be held on Japan's actions toward Nature-Positive by 2030, featuring examples such as Nationally Certified Sustainably Managed Natural Sites, Nature Positive Economy, measures against alien species, Satoumi creation, climate change measures, and reconstruction from the Great East Japan Earthquake in Fukushima.
