Programme details
Professor Yukari Takamura from the University of Tokyo's Center for the Future Vision will serve as the moderator, with panelists including senior staff writers and reporters from Nikkei Inc., government officials, and representatives from companies actively engaged in Green Transformation. The discussion will focus on 'The Future of the Earth and Biodiversity,' taking into account the latest global trends and scientific insights.
Additionally, representatives from each company will share not only their current initiatives but also their future plans and goals.

Yukari Takamura
Professor, Institute for Future Initiatives, The University of Tokyo
Born in Shimane, Professor Takamura specializes in international and environmental law. She’s taught at Ryukoku, Nagoya, and the University of Tokyo’s IR3S. Her research focuses on environmental treaties, climate change, and energy policy. She’s held leadership roles in the Central Environmental Council, Tokyo Metropolitan Environmental Council, and the Renewable Energy Procurement Price Calculation Committee. She’s also served on the Financial Services Agency’s Disclosure Working Group, the SSBJ, and the Asian Development Bank’s Climate Change Advisory Group.
