Reports
【Reflection】
This event combined interactive elements such as the talk session, the Adventure Map featuring panel exhibits, the dance session, and the certification ceremony & group photo. These components transformed the program from a one-way lecture into an interactive dialogue, enabling participants, speakers, and staff to learn together. Children engaged enthusiastically with the quizzes and missions, achieving both enjoyment and educational value.
Survey results highlighted the program’s impact. Participants noted that the quizzes were fun, the Adventure Map was memorable, and Mr. Kawamori’s talk offered new perspectives. Families appreciated the chance to learn together, and even adults commented that the program encouraged them to reflect on how individual choices affect the planet’s future. Many also found the topics of “combination” and “ecosystem” especially thought-provoking. These responses show that the event succeeded in delivering meaningful, age-inclusive learning experiences.
【Post EXPO Initiatives】
We will continue to emphasize the dialog-based learning approach, which was a key factor in the success of this event. In particular, the field guides and the notebook used during the program are also available on the dedicated website, allowing participants to revisit the content and continue their learning after the event.
Based on the survey results, we plan to further develop the quiz and adventure map experiences that received the most positive feedback, creating programs that enable participants of all ages to enjoy meaningful learning through fun and engagement.
Through these ongoing efforts, we aim to enhance both the educational value and visitor satisfaction, fostering continuous learning and inspiring actions that contribute to a more sustainable future.
