【Reflection】
【Nikkei Woman Empowerment Session】
With the aim of promoting diversity, fairness, and inclusion and realizing a society where everyone can shine, discussions focused on women's empowerment, gender equality, and the active participation of diverse talent in corporate management. Corporate representatives and experts who took the stage discussed the current situation and challenges, both domestically and internationally, as well as prospects for the future.

【SYNC25session】
In order to realize an inclusive society, it is also important to ensure equitable opportunities for people with disabilities to contribute. The session discussed the significance of disability inclusion and the expectations for accelerating change through international cooperation.

According to Misaki Tanaka of SOLIT, the realization of a work environment where diverse talents and perspectives are valued and can flourish is not only a sustainable response to labor shortages, but also an essential step toward realizing human rights–based management, which is necessary in the coming era. It was said that it also has great social significance, such as leading to the "redistribution of rights" that shares business opportunities and resources among diverse people.

In the cross-talk that followed, Ms. Atsuko Kuchiba of dentsu Japan introduced how to promote disability inclusion in her company, and Ms. Tanaka and Ms. Kuchiba said that in anticipation of the international summit "SYNC25" for the inclusion of people with disabilities to be held in December, the sharing of knowledge and progress in each country will accelerate change. Comments were received that we would like to learn from the discussions of overseas companies and evolve disability inclusion in a Japan-like way.

In a video message that followed, Katy Tarikowska, CEO of Valuable 500, one of the organizers of SYNC25, commented that she hopes that SYNC25 will be a place for global unity and learning about disability inclusion, and an opportunity for change that will lead to an inclusive future.

【Post EXPO Initiatives】
【Nikkei Woman Empowerment Session】
Going forward, with the aim of creating a society where everyone can thrive in their own unique way, we will continue to share knowledge on promoting gender equality and building organizations that make the most of diversity from a corporate management perspective, and promote corporate initiatives. We plan to send out a message promoting women's participation in the workforce ahead of International Women's Day in March next year.

【SYNC25session】
SYNC25 is an international summit on disability inclusion that will be held in Tokyo on December 3rd and 4th. (For details https://ps.nikkei.com/sync25/) We aim to accelerate the inclusion of people with disabilities in the Japan by having as many top companies participate in this summit, and this summit will change the consciousness of Japan management, and continue to respect the differences of individuals, including those with or without disabilities, without exception. We aim to realize a society where richness is derived from diversity.

At the DE&I (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) Forum, held in conjunction with the Expo's Peace and Human Rights Week, we will promote diversity, equity, and inclusion. Our goal is to share initiatives for corporate management and social implementation that aim to create a society where everyone can shine vibrantly. Specifically, we will discuss important issues under the DE&I context, such as gender equality and disability inclusion. We call for accelerated actions at the management level to address the gender gap and promote the inclusion of people with disabilities
