EXPO2025 Theme Weeks

Programme details

The event will consist mainly of two parts: a panel discussion on women in leadership, covering experiences and advice for future women leaders in business, followed by a speed group mentoring session where participants have the opportunity to seek advice from the senior female leaders. The second part is focused on entrepreneurs and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), discussing barriers and opportunities faced by women-owned SMEs. At the end of the day, there will be an hour of networking occasion where participants can exchange views and experiences with each other, as well as forming new business networks.
The event is another example of the UK and Japan fulfilling the commitments on Trade and Women’s Economic Empowerment Chapter under our bilateral free trade agreement. It will showcase the UK's offer and why the UK is an excellent place for businesswomen and entrepreneurs interested in establishing or growing a business in or exporting to the UK.
