Reports
【Reflection】
Ishikawa Prefecture designated the five days starting August 27 as “Ishikawa Days” and held events themed around the prefecture's appeal: its “food culture.”
Among these, we showcased Ishikawa's diverse appeal through a unified presentation. This included exclusive Expo lunches and dinners prepared by top chefs from Noto and Kaga, alongside experiential events such as tastings and seminars featuring local sake and wagashi sweets. We also displayed products symbolizing the prefecture's food culture, including traditional craft tableware.
Furthermore, we widely communicated the progress of recovery and reconstruction efforts following the Noto Peninsula earthquake and torrential rain damage.
Throughout the event period, many people visited the venue, providing an opportunity to experience Ishikawa's culture.Visitor surveys revealed numerous comments expressing a desire to visit Ishikawa Prefecture, and we believe we were able to fully convey the appeal of our prefecture.
【Post EXPO Initiatives】
Through our participation in this World Expo, a new network has been formed among food culture businesses within the prefecture. We will leverage this network to continue promoting the prefecture's appeal at events both within and outside the prefecture, thereby boosting visitor numbers.
