【Reflection】
Held in September 2025, this programme presented short films produced by the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change of Qatar, introducing visitors to the country’s efforts towards a sustainable future.
The films covered diverse themes, including biodiversity conservation, climate change, mangrove restoration, and environmental data monitoring, and were designed to be engaging and accessible for audiences of all ages. Visitors commented on the experience with remarks such as “I learned something new” and “even the children were captivated,” highlighting how the combination of educational content and participatory experience effectively deepened understanding and interest in natural environments and sustainability.
【Post EXPO Initiatives】
Building on the interest and knowledge gained through these short films, Qatar aims to provide opportunities that bring its environmental initiatives closer to the public.
In collaboration with schools and community groups, regular learning opportunities will be offered to explore concrete actions such as biodiversity protection, climate change mitigation, and mangrove restoration. Furthermore, partnerships with domestic and international educational and scientific institutions will allow insights gained from the programme to be shared more widely, extending learning across generations and regions.
Through these initiatives, the programme seeks to foster the development of future environmental leaders and to further raise awareness of Qatar’s path towards a sustainable future.
