Reports

【Reflection】
A team of university and high school students, who have been continuing their research activities incorporating the STEAM perspective since last year, took on the sensitive topic of "sex education between parents and children" in the digital age. The university and high school students approached a topic with no correct answer from their own perspectives, and after conducting research and discussions, they presented their opinions, which received a lot of praise from their peers and parents.

The university team interviewed local governments, parents, and peers on "sex education" to organize the issues, while the high school team took media literacy in the information society as their theme, conducted their own research on the literacy of the SNS most used by their peers, and proposed the development of an app to help them notice misinformation. They focused on the tendency for people to be most receptive to information provided by their peers, and even proposed a solution, proposing a solution through high school-university collaboration to solve the problem.

【Post EXPO Initiatives】
We believe this program has helped raise awareness and awareness of the importance of STEAM education. We will continue to leverage this success to appeal to many experts, aiming to popularize and establish STEAM education, which fosters the ability to tackle problems that have no clear answers through the use of ICT. We will also leverage the collaboration forged at the Expo to expand and revitalize our activities nationwide. We will strengthen industry-academia collaboration to provide a forum for young people living in the future to come into contact with cutting-edge technology and science, and to create a space for cross-cultural co-creation.
