Reports

【Reflection】
The event provided a platform for junior and senior high school students nationwide, as well as U-25 youth, to present their works and projects to society across diverse fields such as programming, video production, design, game development, and inquiry-based learning. Exhibitions featuring advanced technologies—including AI, IoT, and robotics—highlighted the potential of the next generation and created valuable opportunities to connect emerging talent with broader society.

Over the two days of July 19th and 20th, the Expo venue welcomed 18,418 visitors. The exhibition showcased 19 projects from high school students (52 participants) and 44 projects from university students and young creators (101 participants), for a total of 63 projects presented by 153 participants. The diversity and initiative of these young talents, proactively engaging with social issues and creative themes, attracted significant attention.

A key outcome was the establishment of new connections between participants, visitors, and stakeholders. More than a showcase, the event served as a forum for exchanges oriented toward commercialization and social implementation. Visitors noted that they could “truly feel the potential of technology” and appreciated the opportunity to “directly engage with the younger generation,” thereby contributing to the creation of networks that bridged industry, academia, and government.

Overall, the initiative successfully achieved its objective of making the talents of young people visible and connecting them to society, while also presenting these achievements on the international stage of the Expo. Building on the outcomes and lessons learned, we will continue to expand opportunities for young people to take on new challenges and strive to generate even greater societal impact in future editions.

【Post EXPO Initiatives】
On July 21st, following the conclusion of the main program, the SxPARK Awards Ceremony was held at Umeda Knowledge Theater as part of the overall awards program of the Digital Gakuensai.

The awards recognized outstanding projects and individuals from among all exhibited works, based on defined evaluation criteria such as creativity, technical excellence, and social impact. The ceremony provided recipients with formal recognition of their efforts, strengthening their confidence and motivation to pursue further challenges.

After the ceremony, a networking event was organized at Blooming Camp by Sakura Internet, enabling participants, educators, companies, and supporters to engage in open dialogue. This setting, free from the time constraints of the main event, facilitated deeper exchange and the formation of new relationships and potential collaborations.

Through these initiatives, the Digital Gakuensai not only celebrated achievement but also ensured that the outcomes of the event contributed to sustained growth and future development.
