【Post EXPO Initiatives】
We believe that you will continue to generously pour your global experiences, including those from the Osaka-Kansai Expo, into your work, producing a steady stream of amazing creations.
In this program, you primarily discussed the inspirations and encounters gained from your travels around the world. However, this expo offers a unique opportunity to experience diverse cultures, meet people from different environments, and truly grasp the essence of the world, all from within Japan. We hope that, in addition to your actual works, the importance of various encounters and experiences, and how creativity springs forth from them, will resonate particularly with the younger generation through your creations. After the expo concludes, we plan to create a lasting legacy of what Producer Shoji Kawamori conveyed through the pavilions and events. This will involve special exhibitions and the reuse or repurposing of the actual structures that were meticulously crafted, ensuring his vision continues to be shared.
