The 12th NIKKEI FT Communicable Diseases Conference will hold a special event at the Osaka-Kansai Expo site. We will welcome Professor Shigeru Omi, Chair of the NIKKEI FT Communicable Diseases Conference and former Chair of Subcommittee on Novel Coronavirus Disease Control during the recent pandemic, to exchange views with students who will shape the future of infectious disease control on the challenges ahead.

【Reflection】
We disseminated infectious disease countermeasure recommendations from experts and held discussions on these measures with university students who will lead the next generation. We believe that we effectively communicated the importance of preparing for future pandemics.
【Post EXPO Initiatives】
Through discussions with infectious disease experts, we will communicate to society, via NIKKEI media, the role Japan should play in the global community.
