Reports

【Reflection】
Through this program, which united speakers from diverse fields—technology, Buddhism, art, democracy, and more—OMRON introduced a new consciousness and worldview for discussions on SDGs+Beyond. Central to this was the vision of a “Natural Society” articulated in the OMRON SINIC Theory, a future prediction model that resonates strongly with the ideals of SDGs+Beyond.

Key insights included:
-The “Natural Society” aligns with a future where humanity, technology, and society harmonize with natural principles.
-In this society, restraint and equilibrium are maintained through “Space”—a form of control without a subject—where margins and openness enable integration with nature.
-The transition from an autonomous society to a natural one requires a new social operating system called “Plurality.”
-Even spiritual entities may become reproducible through technology, expanding the boundaries of human experience.

Attendees expressed deep resonance, with many eager to collaborate immediately, signaling a widening circle of shared understanding. The live stream reached a broad audience, making the collective contemplation of future society profoundly meaningful. The most enduring legacy lies in the collaborative framework for co-creation established with opinion leaders such as Audrey Tang, Shokei Matsumoto, and Etsuko Ichihara, alongside all participants and viewers.

This program marked the beginning of a journey toward realizing a natural society—an event that, in 20 or 30 years, may be remembered as the moment when these ideas first took shape. Moving forward, OMRON will continue working with resonators and co-creators to refine the near-future vision, striving not only to imagine but to implement it through the social application of technology.

【Post EXPO Initiatives】
This program marked the kickoff for co-creating a future of SDGs+Beyond, grounded in the vision of OMRON`s SINIC Theory. It aimed to generate conversations on “Designing a Future Society Where Life Shines,” and successfully identified resonators and co-creators who share this aspiration.

Emerging collaborative initiatives are already taking shape, with plans to engage in global forums and other key events. Moving forward, we will drive the global expansion of future co-creation in tandem with the continued development of our platform, ensuring that these ideas evolve into tangible actions and shared progress.
