Programme details
The super-aging and declining population that Japan faces are particularly serious in rural areas. To overcome these challenges that lead to the decline of regions, local governments have begun to work with companies, universities, and local organizations to implement ideas and initiatives to revitalize the local economy and strengthen competitiveness. As "Regional Revitalization 2.0" begins to take shape, local government and government officials, as well as experts, will discuss and disseminate innovative examples of initiatives taking place in the field.
