A “talk session” will be held on the theme of realizing a society and a company where women can be active in their own way regardless of their gender.
Discussions will focus on the awareness of women themselves, and by changing the awareness and actions of each individual, we hope to provide an opportunity to promote women's activities and revitalization in the Kansai region.
Research presentations by high school students are scheduled at the beginning of the session.

【Reflection 】
Findings:
This event brings together leaders from various backgrounds to discuss creating a society and company where people can be active in their own way. The purpose of the event is to gain insight into how individuals can work with vitality and autonomy. The Sakuya Working Community hosted the event. The community was formed with the aim of solving issues faced by people close to them from the perspective of working women. The event was a great success, with approximately 130 participants, including those who joined online. Below is a review of the effectiveness, reflections, and future improvements.
Effectiveness:
The event received positive responses from participants. According to the post-event survey results, all of the respondents were satisfied with the event, and many said they gained helpful information on living and working.
Through the event, we provided participants with tips to help them recognize, value, and cherish themselves; take on challenges without seeking perfection; and search for a fulfilling life.
Reflections:
Although the Leader Talk session addressed the survey results, there were some areas where direct responses could not be adequately demonstrated.
Additionally, although communication with online participants was not initially planned, the post-survey results indicated that participants expected an opportunity for two-way communication.
Future Improvements:
From the planning stage, we discussed how to clearly communicate our message to participants through the event. However, we received unanticipated responses from the audience, which confirmed the importance of not allowing the organizers to control the discussion too much.
We would also like to explore ways to increase participation, such as introducing interaction tools for online participants.
Although the event was a success with many positive outcomes and high participant satisfaction, we learned that there are still issues to address. We will continue to work toward resolving these issues.
We would like to thank all the participants from the bottom of our hearts.
【Post EXPO Initiatives】
Members who expressed their intentions at the Women's Pavilion "WA" space are planning to collaborate over the next 10 years to create a society where all workers can build satisfying and fulfilling careers by connecting with each other and taking action.

Keita Emoto
OBAYASHI CORPORATION Manager, Osaka-Kansai EXPO Department
Joined Obayashi Corporation in 2009 as a building construction employee.
In 2021, he took his first 3-month childcare leave for his third child, and since then he started to be conscious of work-life balance.
In April 2024, he became a section chief of Osaka-Kansai Expo Department, and with the change of stage, he is searching for a sense of balance again.

Masako Tsukada
Leader, Kansai Research&Business Development Department
She joined ITOCHU Corporation in 1995, and in 2004 became the first woman to become an executive member of a labor union in a general trading company. Through this experience, she studied coaching and made it her life's work to help people "live their own lives. Since 2013, she has been working at her current position, supporting top management in their business activities and assisting in creating new businesses.
