ASEAN Media Forum & Fellowship @Osaka Expo 2025
ASEAN (Association of South‐East Asian Nations)
The ASEAN Media Forum (AMF) is a platform for senior journalists from the regional media to come together with ASEAN leaders. It aims to give a live stage to both parties to discuss specific issues, clarify information, deepen understanding and disseminate fact-based news relevant to the regional integration efforts in ASEAN. The AMF Expo 2025 would air the general theme on global peace & security. The specific theme will be determined further while it may touch upon the ASEAN Indo-Pacific Outlook as a reference. We target to include 50 stakeholders from media, ASEAN resource personS as well as Japanese counterparts. The room set up is either U shape or theatre style, this is to be determined based on the panelist format. The media participants will be selected by the ASEAN Secretariat, however we encourage ASEAN Member States' pavilion communications team to also join the AMF.
